Simple solution or baby genocide.
« on: June 27, 2009, 10:16:30 am »

O.K.  I have lots of dwarfs carrying babies.  How can I change said dwarfs labor options?  u - c - p - l  doesn't work because it zooms to baby.  Is there a simple solution to change labor options for baby carriers or do I need to kill some babies?

Edit:  How can I kill babies?

when you u-c-p to them and it shows the baby, press v and it will go to the next dwarf on that square. This is useful for when they have babies, and when you want to see how wounded a melee dwarf is in the middle of a fight

Or if you have retarded tamed animals that insist on staying in the same square as a dwarf...

For babies specifically, you might want to turn them off in the init, or at least make them less common. IMO the default baby pop cap is ridiculously high.
