I wont be praying for her because I'm an evil Atheist who believes that praying is the art of doing nothing while still thinking you're helping.

I will, however, support the advice of others. Go visit her and give her the time of her life.

Protip: Cancer is not an STD.

Protip: Do not capitalize Atheist inside sentences if you're not a GOODY CHURCH-GOING cat-holics!

But but but... It's supposed to be capitalized! It's a NAME!

Cancer is an evil, depressing disease. But all gods have a heaven for good people. You just have to wait the first lifetime you have until you pass on to see your friends and family again. Don't be too sad, just wait and give your friend a good last month (thought it is probably many, many years due to doctor stupidity, stupid doctors).

My hopes and prayers go with your friend...
Let it be known, the next falling star i see, my wish goes with her, rather than me.

While I may not know what to say to help, I hope for the best Jackrabbit.  I would agree with what the others have said though about visiting her or atleast seeing her via webcam.

Borrow all the money you can from freinds & family, max out your credit, anything so you can visit. Buggering your finances for a while is the least you can do to visit someone you care about if they're unlikley to live. Condolences.

But anyway, just make her last days as awesome as possible. You say she has/had a crush on you? Well then give her a deathwish and be the best damn boyfriend you can be.

Actually, that's some cool advice. I mean, if you're at all into her. And it gives her a bit of a happy ending.

I think you should go with what nearly everyone is saying; visit her! I mean, this is probably your last chance to see your friend.

Seriously, this is one of those things that will enrich your life. It's a fundamentally good thing to do, and if you don't do it, you'll have missed one of the most important opportunities you'll ever be faced with. If you don't do it, you could end up regretting it for the rest of your life.

This is seriously depressing. sorry Jack. and especially sorry unnamed english girl.

You know that doctors usually estimate life expectancies on the low side of the errorbar?
After 3 chemo's a miraculous cure is very unlikely, but many uncurable patients have survived for years.

Not saying that your friend will for sure, but I hope she does and without being in pain.

I'm not sure about becoming her boyfriend out of pity or just to be friendly, but if is only distance keeping you two from being a couple...
Also, ye could get her some chronic if she goes for that sort of thing.

Be fair. Be Honest. Be strong. (BEES!)
My heart bleeds for you.

At 5 this morning, she passed away. I still don't know her last name. I never got to visit her and my letter will never reach her. Thank you all for your kindness. I think I'll lock this topic now. It's served its purpose.
