Where is it!?
« on: August 02, 2009, 11:26:42 pm »

There's supposed to be an underground river on this map, but I'm having trouble finding it.

I do have some olm vermin appearing in one of my tunnels, so I guess it must be near there, though the area is already fairly heavily excavated.

I'm guessing I should focus on the z level the olms are on, any suggestions?

The olms can also spawn above and below the river.

Save, load, use reveal, note position, quit without saving, load, dig

Save, load, use reveal, note position, quit without saving, load, dig

That can still mess with your save.

It's recommended to just make a copy of your current fort and use reveal on that, then go back to the original.

How? Unless you have an autosave nothing should be written to the save.

I've never had any issues with it messing up the save. Just alt tab, close process.
