I've got a problem where some of my soldiers in a certain squad are camping at an old patrol route out in the wilds that I set in a previous goblin siege to take out a goblin squad. The thing is I've cleared the old patrol route, set a new one as well as adding a station point and the soldiers still head back to the old patrol point. I don't know if this has to do with their previous squad leader being unconscious in bed, perhaps the actual one was killed, but I've set a new squad leader and it still doesn't work. The squad leader himself follows the new patrol route, the soldiers however aren't following him, they head over to the old patrol route and stay there. I've noted that they follow an elite wrestler in the squad, however the leader is a champion so it shouldn't be an issue of rank.

I tried taking the soldiers out of the squad and back in again under the squad leader. It worked for all of them except the elite wrestler. I put him in his own squad and I found out that apparently his old patrol route wasn't deleted, so he still followed that and the soldiers further assigned under him followed him on that route. So it's a problem that old patrol routes aren't deleted for some reason. Sorry if this has already been mentioned.
