To be honest, i'd say the protoss were best for making new bases and stuff, you could just go anywhere and spawn a bunch of pylons and have a fully functional base appear in minutes, a single probe can do so much more building than an SCV or a drone.

Yeah, but you have to wait for the pylons to appear before you can make anything else.

I like the terrans for building forward bases... most of their buildings fly!
