Anyone having trouble with DF on Linux, please look here
« on: June 10, 2009, 03:30:20 pm »

Since I'm sure many of you aren't following everything in the hundred-page thread very closely, I'll post this here:

There's a debugging build of 40d11 up. If you run it, it won't work any better, but it'll give me important information to help fix it. You can download it from http://brage.info/~svein/df40d11-debug.tar.bz2.

Feel free to post debug output in this thread, so it stays on the page while it's still useful.

I'll download it on my virtual distro and see what I can get out of it.
I know this is for people who were having trouble with it, but I figure if I don't have trouble running it on a virtual machine with effectively no graphics card, 1GB of RAM, and I don't even know how much CPU power...
EDIT: Nope, no troubles.  Sorry I can't be of more help..
Spoiler: Terminal output (click to show/hide)

Something handy from the other thread:
To store the log to a file, use "./df >log 2>log" to run it.
