Well, I believe you you have to buy ISK and "sims" from the Second Life people.

There was a court case in which somebody attempted to buy land for free from Second Life and Second Life decided to freeze his account and take back all the land that guy previously bought, as a punishment. He sued, and eventually, Second Life settled out of court.

ah outbreak, that game is fun the first day, then it gets boring, plus it dosnt get updates.
