First off, I've had problems. I get messages that say *Insert dwarf name here* has been struck down. I search the map, and generally find them dead next to an unconcious and very wounded other dwarf. (of my own fortress)

There not mad, or throwing a tantrum, just killing each other.

Then they place 2 dwarves in the same bed, so I am unable to check on the one underneath. I get a message that he starved to death, and what im thinking is that he was unable to get food because of the other dwarf ontop of him.

for the two bed problem you can mouse over them and hit v again to switch between peoples

note the reason two dwarves are in one bed is that they deeply love eachother.
must be kinda hard, but they still deeply love each other.

If the bed is assigned as a barracks than one of your dwarfs has killed the other in a sparring actcident. If it isn't, well I don't want to know what goes on in your fort.
