I don't know why, but the custom stockpile I set up for sandbags is just not taking them. I set my normal furniture stockpile to forbit boxes/bags and sandbags and the sandbag stockpile to only accept sandbags. It's been the same in other games in that they just won't put the sandbags into the stockpile, or they will just put them into the normal furniture stockpile.

So..... how do I get this to work right? At the moment, all of the sandbags are apparently all on my sand gathering activity zone

Make sure all the material and quality settings are enabled for your sandbag pile. Forbid all the furniture, but make sure sand bags are enabled by toggling them with 'u'.

I did the 'u' thing, but I'll take a second look at the rest. I did forbid the rest of the furniture and all, so...

Edit: Yea you're right, it was because I had all of the material and quality stuff off.
