Dtil Utility (40d11)
« on: May 21, 2009, 03:49:54 pm »

Does Dtil work with 40d11? When I do game -> Attach to process it says it can't find dwarf fortress.
I'm running vista with .net framework 3.5 using mike mayday's tileset download of 40d11.

Weak. I used the reveal from that tool. What other reveal tools are out there that work with 40d11?

Sounds like we have to do it the hard way.  Copy the region folder from 40d11 to 40d, run reveal in the 40d version, and make notes about any interesting features.

Or disable memory address randomization in Vista, which "protects" us from spyware and such ('cuz I trust Microsoft soooo much more than that guy in Nigera with a ton of gold that just needs a little money help).

Also, obviously, magma avalanches and tsunamis weren't exactly a contingency covered in the mission briefing.
I can assure you that Ardentdikes is not the first fortress to be flooded with magma. What's unusual is that we actually meant to flood it with magma.
