A fortresses end, thanks to Traders?

I was playing my Modded Dwarf fortress and i got to say,



Do not make a trading race that breathes fire.

I REPEAT, DON'T!! EVER!!

That was the MOST stupid thing i have ever done.

And don't build a trading depot that is close to grass if your going to do that.

If you really want some fun, give the elves a homeotherm temperature of 15000 or so. Then they burst into flame the moment the enter the map.

Seriously this is just crazy.



Thanks to my fortress being a semi-outdoors hobbit holes type, Alot of my hobbits got burned more then 20 already died.

Edit: and i never knew people could bleed from fire.



And they are getting so used to death they are putting people in coffins BEFORE they die.

Setting their "melting" levels to absolute zero is also a possibility.  Or you could inquire about those orcs with exploding arms and see if you can do the same with elves.

My dwarven traders kept exploding and I couldn't figure out why.

Then I remembered that they'll occasionally bring rocks for you. Adding a location tag to that exploding rock I made (for the purposes of itemcorpses) to have the bonus effect of pissing off the miners wasn't such a good idea after all.

Wasn't anywhere near as bad as the time I made the flaming giant cave spider that spun flaming silk, though.

regardless, the slime shooter will be completed, come hell or high water, which are both entirely plausible setbacks at this point.
