Servant... one for ones when you don't know the role of someone is just BAD strategy for the dopps.  They're outnumbered.  They NEED to survive.  Especially if they have abilities.

That would be a much better play for town than scum.

Yea, that PM was genuinely leaked.  Not to mention it contained the names of the 2 most powerful dopps (Beacon was a bodyguard, Masami was a detective).  A mad scientist and a normal dopp just wouldn't be able to take on the town by themselves (yes, I was a dopp).  Not to mention that awesome disciple of truth gambit webadict pulled.  Hence why I voted for the re-do.  Sorry guys.

Some roles are broken. You just need to find them. Like Ghost.

Also, who were the Dopps? Masami, Beacon, Frelock and... I'm not sure who.

I was fine with a redo as soon as I saw the Beacon post. Oh well. Maybe there will purposefully be no more DoT. I wish it was also a Dopp role, to prevent abuse. Or like the one Meph stated.

Yeah, the Disciple of Truth gambit needs some sort of counter. Making the DoT a Dopp role could work for that, since only the person exposed by the DoT is really trustworthy. The Illusionist role I posted over in the rules discussion thread also has some potential.

Ghost, I think, is ok right now since the Ghost doesn't know their role. That should make it a useful role without being Broken. But I guess we'll find out whenever a Ghost actually shows up.

The only way to test the Medium (without role-checking) is to have someone die.

Now, I'm guessing this test involved telling the person who is to die something, and then have them tell the Medium the phrase after they die, and have the Medium tell you the original statement once they get it from the dead guy.

Maybe all members of the Town Base get given that codephrase. When one of the Town Base die, which will eventually happen, then the Medium gets that codephrase. And if the Town Base doesn't die, then the Mafia is likely so crippled that it is unlikely the Town needs the Medium.
