[40d11] Error Creating OpenGL Window

I keep getting that message everytime i try to start off fullscreen on DF with a tile set. I can't fullscreen it if I start off windowed. If i dont have a tileset though, i can full screen though. Anyone know how to fix this? (Possibly this happens since im on a mac)

You're probably using two different tilesets with different size to them, yet trying to use them with the same resolution and grid settings.

You're probably using two different tilesets with different size to them, yet trying to use them with the same resolution and grid settings.
it doesnt look so.... i had just been trying the dark dwarf mod, and this is what the init file says

Well, I don't know what your grid settings are, but yeah, that LOOKS right, at least.

Is the other tileset you were using the same size?

they look so. its basically the mayday set, but with different coloring for the dwarfs. the porportions are all the same. I dont think its two different tile sets, since i can still play windowed. Its just fullscreen i cant.

Well, you specified "with a tile set" in the original post, so I figured you meant that using the default tileset worked fine.

No, there's certainly something weird going on that's probably relatively easy to find out.

Now, you said it works when you use the default tileset. When you switched over to the other tileset, did you change ANYTHING aside from the [FONT] tags in the init?

For that matter, is your monitor capable of the resolution you specified in the init file?

The init file came with the mod, doesn't look to be different besides that (in terms of graphical settings)

and it is capable of the resolution. just to sure i changed the resolution on the init down to 640x300, still didnt work

I think this is your problem right here. 1200x1000 isn't a standard resolution that I'm aware of (wikipedia agrees).

Yeah, the aspect ratio on that is pretty much completely whacked. Change it to something your monitor supports.
