reclaiming

Reclaiming probably should eventually be balanced somewhat. Presently, it's very easy to abuse.

Obviously, a game in alpha I'm not complaining about being able to cheat at, because it's my own decision to cheat, but in the long run I think the reclaim mode encourages cheating pretty badly.

The reason for this is that, quite simply, you have everything to gain by abandonning and reclaiming until you have the skeleton of your fortress put in place because it means you don't have set dwarves to do useless things like farm or brew or any of a multitude of other things.

My suggestions for limiting the usefulness of this would be as follows:

1. Break iron weapons and picks.
2. 'Rot' stored wood and carts.
3. Rot wooden furniture.
4. Break random pieces of stone furniture, doors, etc.
5. Cause a certain percentage of ore to be carried off by intruders.
6. Substantially increase the difficulty of intruders as the depth increases; automatically create caveins to block off each new section so they have to be cut into.

I think these would still leave reclaim a viable option if you really need to use it, but removes it as a viable option for abusive gains.
