Lets start off by saying hello, i signed up awhile ago and didnt post(i think) and i probably wont be very active cause i tend not to care much for forums.

Ok i got this idea after reading a bit of magic ideas and i read a few of toe's story's particular the wedding of doom. Whatever the magic system will be and if it uses dwarfs or who ever for the casters if they did the weddings like a preacher would maybe the couple and or child could be cursed and or blessed.

I have a rough idea for a curse/blessing.

Say a necromancer does the wedding the baby could be cursed and cats/dogs would accost the baby through its life and cause mild damage, or if a shaman does the wedding strays might follow the baby through its life for small periods of time.

Cure? is that what they call a marriage ceremony where you are or are you thinking of something else?

While it is a cool idea for a curse, I think magic related suggestions won't really be all that helpful until the time that Toady actually decides to focus on magic.
