Creature with arms + legs>arms drop off> creature with just legs.
Also about the termite with workers and soldiers, it's going to be in next version I think, if not then the one after but it's called castes.

I think the situation was this:

Human->Werewolf->Wolf

Humans and werewolves both have two arms and two legs.  Fine.  So if a human loses an arm then turns into a werewolf, he's now a one-armed werewolf.  Not trivial to handle, but it's at least intuitive.

When that werewolf turns into a wolf, well, let's just say I would be REALLY HORRIFIED if someone transformed by his ARMS falling off, and then SPROUTING two more legs.

The arms would be linked to the legs, through most likely a numbering system to differentiate the parts.  It is merely a tag change, which is already used by the child->adult change.
