Egg layers
« on: April 14, 2009, 03:52:53 am »

Egg layers, such as chickens, lay eggs every n days as defined in RAWs, but only if they don't have an egg on the same tile. The egg layer must be in a coop/nest that is built from hair or straw. The egg is either collected by a dwarf or the coop built over floor bars above a conveyor belt or something. To hatch an egg it must be left with the adult for a specified time in the RAWs or 3/4 of time in an incubator (stone + hair/straw + heat source below?).

Great.

Now I'll NEVER get rid of the frogmen.

Even better: chained frogman + floor bars + conveyor belt with under floor magma heating = frogman omlette machine.
