I've got a nice exotic zoo, thanks to the elves..

They even brought me a Giant Eagle..
Waiting for a mate for it, I'm really curious if and how they breed

they do breed, ive actually killed some of their hatchlings. just dont let them fly when they are giving birth.

Giant Eagle Airforce, anyone?

Rather than having them directly force you to mine adamantine, I would suggest that they give you strange moods that require adamantine. "Dig out the adamantine or Urist here goes insane and dies" is suitably vicious.

(It occurs to me that you can probably get "Lovecraft" as the random name of your fortress. That's when you know you're screwed.)

I know this has caused rage, but to make up for it, i found one of the crazy Elves wandered into a cage trap.  So I dropped his cage into magma to make up for my heresy.

There, now I feel better.

People burning, booze exploding, the fort is on fire, the countryside has turned to ash.  Its business as usual.

....dropped 4 z-levels into a dark disgusting refuse cave to be devoured by my feral giant cave spider.

Also, the elves were the first to be tossed into the spider pit.

Nice, I tryed doing something like it, but my GCS is a dog-terian apperently.

I droped several various animals and a ton of goblins on it and it never touched ANYTHING besides the dogs. It eats evry single dog and puppy, but the 7-ish Cats, 10 Goblins and 3 cows  have been hanging out there for years now...
