After the death of my two other games, I decided I need to make one, and only one! So, after a few minutes pondering this, I decided on this.
Background
Those Loyal to the Emperor
Warmaster Horus, of the Empire of Mankind, denounced the Emperor and reveals his true alliance to the Dark Gods. The Empire is ripped asunder, battle brother against battle brother. Your objective: Defeat the enemies of Mankind! FOR THE EMPEROR!
Those Corrupted by Chaos
The Warmaster has called on you to join him in his glorious crusade, to defeat the fanatics of the Corpse God's minions! The Emperor has given nothing to you, and you give him your life! FIGHT! FIGHT FOR THE GODS OF CHAOS! DEATH TO THE MINIONS OF THE CORPSE GOD!
Gameplay
Movement
Quite similar to Fey Dwarf's game, each player moves, shoots, and fights. You may move 5 squares each turn, and then you must choose your facing. There are some symbols similar to DF, like fortifications and walls, neither of which you can move through.
Combat
If you are adjacent to an enemy player, you may choose to attack them. I roll the dice, and whoever gets the highest roll wins, and kills the enemy. Facing matters in combat. If you and the enemy are facing each other, there is no penalty to the defender. If the attacker charges the defender from the side the defender has a -1 penalty. From the back, -2.
Shooting
If you have a gun, you may shoot at an enemy. For every four squares, I roll a d3. On a 1 or 2, the enemy is hit. On a 3+, the shot misses. If it hits, I roll another d3. On a 1, the enemy has been killed. On a 2, he has been immobilized for a turn. On a 3, it has only glanced his power armor.
Classes
Vanguard Veteran-+1 to win close combat.
Sternguard Veteran--1 to roll to hit when shoooting.
Scout-+1 to movement
Weapons
Chainsword-The chainsword tears through armor with ease, tearing enemies in half. It has a d6 in combat.
Boltgun-A gun, with great accuracy at long range. If the enemy is 6 squares away, the Marine gets -1 to the hit roll. In combat, it has a d4.
Power Fist-A powerful fist weapon, pummeling enemies away. The power fist has a d10 in combat, but gets -2 as it is a cumbersome weapon.
Thunder Hammer-A large hammer, crackling with power. The thunder hammer has a d10 in combat, and has a -3 to hit. So powerful, it knocks enemies over, even on a miss. In combat, after the first turn, the enemy has a -1 to hit.
Plasma Gun-A powerful gun, that can melt bone and armor. It has a -1 to its wounding roll. However, if it gets a 3(the bonus doesnt effect it yet) the user is burned, adn has a chance to die.
Objective
The objective of this is to kill the enemies, until they run out of their three lives.
Example of Gameplay
-----------
1> 2>
----- -----
- -
1=Player 1(Vanguard Veteran with a Chainsword)
2=Player 2(Scout with a Power fist)
>=Direction Facing
-=Wall
Player one, a Vanguard Veteran, moves 5 spaces West, and attacks player two.
Player One-6+1=7
Player Two-4-2-2=0
Player One strikes at Player One from behind. Player Two, oblivious to the other Marine, is ripped in tow, blood and entrails spewing on the walls and ground. Player Two is sent back to his base, with one less life.
I wish for 12+ players.
