I've had a legendary miner who one day just canceled his dig job, and sat there with "No Job". He had the same level of access to to food and drink as the other miners, but he just sat there and wandered around the fort until he starved.

Yeah, the hammer dwarves were legendary wrestlers.  I put on leather armor (still a bit reluctant to start making metal armors), but they still get a spine injury.

Meh, it's funnier to see them rip a goblin apart.

There was that time once where my hunter was hunting animals that couldn't possibly hurt him, then I found him near dead. He suffocated in his bed a few moments later.

The worst thing is, the only animals close to him were goats.

Two guards and a champion killed by an artifact axe during sparring. Whoops.

Trapped someone in a walled-off chamber. Accidentally.

Numerous nobles mysteriously locked in rooms after pulling a lever. Funny how that keeps happening.

Many, many elves killed when the trade depot is somehow sealed and flooded.

At least one miner getting lost and dying of dehydration in a tunnel.

One poor champion falling in a lake when wounded, and drowning.

A tendon in the skull has been torn!
The Raven has been knocked unconcious!

Elves do it in trees. Humans do it in wooden structures. Dwarves? Dwarves do it underground. With magma.

leather armor is barely better than clothing, and really I'd only use it in situations where you simply can't make enough metal armor. shields are important too

Yeah, gave them all shields.  But I thought I heard that armor stacks, so having them put on leather armor, then chain, then plate, you get all 3.

I find with full leather I don't lose dwarves from wrestling, but there are still a few nervous wounds.

It is good to see someone testing their artefact, it is so easy to just assume that someone who locks themselves in a room and starts babbling incoherently will make a flawless weapon...

Vote (1) for the Urist scale!
I shall be eternally happy. I shall be able to construct elf hunting giant mecha. Which can pour magma.
Urist has been forced to use a friend as fertilizer lately.
