Space, the Final Frontier. These are the voyages of the starship Armok's hand. it's ongoing mission: to seek out new life, and kill it with magma. To boldy strike the earth were no Dwarf had gone before.

Just remember to build plenty of magma cannons and pintle mounted bolt-throwers in case the *The Overwhelming Swarm of the Hive Fleet has Arrived!*

I feel like adding space would make DF have more of a point. Perhaps add different species, with more/less limbs? Maybe they could mate to create a dwarf/alien hybrid.  :o

imagine fighting someone on the street. You guys are going at it...all of the sudden, he hits you in the face with the tips of 5 fingers. What the fuck is he doing? You're confused, he school boys you, you're going to be lost. Match won.

Well other planets would have to wait for the Planes Arc (which I fully support planets representing planes)

As for surviving a trip through space. It should take over the course of several hundred years (or less) and involve creatures who can survive the trip.

It would be interesting if space wasn't so empty.

Planes are to Planets as Magic is to Technology

So yeah.  We're getting planes (eventually).  The rest is semantics
