I'm not sure how mods affect worldgen; the only one I use that seems likely to change it is Sean Mirrsen's mineral mod. But if it does generate properly, the upper several Z-levels are obsidian with plentiful native copper, there's HFS to the center right of the map, a magma pipe reaching almost to the surface, a cave river with absolutely vicious inhabitants, goblins...

Bauxite is available from one of the dwarven civs, I forget which one specifically.

There's no sand, unfortunately, and you'll have to trade for wood and outdoor plants since it's on a desert (but I had no difficulty getting enough.) Still, a fort made of obsidian is pretty badass.

All megabeasts are dead as it currently stands, so you might want to use a different history seed or bulk up the megabeasts first.

I think this was actually from the default SMALL template.
