I really miss the point of doing quests. Except for mayor respect. Some gold, well-crafted weapon/armor piece or some exceptional trinket encrusted with gems would hit the spot. Getting quest "kill kobolt elite bowman" as a reward for a quest "kill cyclops" is somewhat disappointing. What do you think?

I think toad already has this down somewhere in the req/bloats, but yeah this MUST happen.

The current system isn't too bad. No new title or anything, but at least if you die in the vicinity, your next char can hear your about your adventures and get sent on a quest of vengeance.

I've gotten new titles just for killing a bunch of named skeletal guys.

But yes, rewards are definitely going in.

Yeah, at the moment cave quests are somewhat meaningless. You're almost guaranteed to get killed, on the one hand, and on the other hand there's no reward whatsoever (unless it's a kobold cave).

EDIT: Oops, didn't read that very well.  New argument: What do you mean, gaining skill in your weapon, wrestling, armor user, and all the other skills you use, plus the knowledge that you've made the world a little bit safer isn't enough for you?  Greedy git!   :mad: </notserious>

Ah well, you have a point I suppose. I guess that doing all that AND getting loot is too much to ask... I'll stop going to the ruins then

2BDR - you can get all that without any quests. But greedy? Even a paladins do eat by the way. It`s just some flawed mechanics of travel which heals, regrows all lost limbs and feeding adventurer. I doubt this exploit will work in final versions.

I guess I'm the only one around with Humor Comprehension skill.  Well, I guess me and Rondol, but that's hardly what I was expecting.
