It also shows that the TF2 people love their fans more than L4D devs. lol expansion/new game instead of free content.

Newsflash. Same devs.

L4D feels so incomplete. After you play for 4 hours, you want to know when you get cooler things. An uzi, shotgun, and the advanced weapons get boring since they all do their job pretty much the same. Shoot constantly in all directions - zom-b-gone

Hmm I just might try this out, I'm always getting pissed about how much you have to play on the free shooters to keep the stuff you got, if what hunter says is true.

Well, i've been playing this on and off - Mostly on the National's side, my Player name on it is Silleh, if anybody wants to add me. It'd be nice if you could let me know (here, if possible.) that you've added me so i know who to add.

If anything, it'd be nice to play alongside a few of the other Bay12'ers.

If you want to play the game without a shirt, or in your underwear, you will need to purchase the Naked Chest and/or Naked Legs items from the Store and equip them in the appropriate slot.

Microtransactions defeat the purpose of being free to play, as the people with the money will constantly pwn everything forever, and everyone else is fucked.

Yes, you can in fact buy, not just decorations, but weapons and abilities.

No actually you can't.

All weapons are rented using game earned "VP" All abilities are gotten from "Hero Points" which are gotten every couple levels.  The only thing money gets is clothes, a couple emotes and some "wrenches" with a few more uses.

Yes, actually you can. You can use battle funds to simply increase your experience and VP, which amounts to the same thing.

Thats sort of like buying a bike in real life, sure it will get you there faster but you can probably walk there if you want.

Besides the weapons are cheap, a couple battles will get you one.

If I don't play again soon, my rocket launcher is going to disappear *again*. (Actually, maybe it already has)

The rent-for-a-month thing is a real annoyance.

I haven't been playing since it's mostly been annoying - and I like TF2 better.

There's a fun game hiding there, but they've got things that make it a real nuisance to enjoy, like the game-finding-and-joining thing, which frequently goes "NO GAMES FOR YOU, NEXT," especially on low-level characters, having to play frequently to get enough VP to keep rebuying weapons because they vanish after a month, and if you don't have the buyable weapons, getting your ass handed to you by the people who do, etc.

I think they are just dodging. Sure it can fool the law system. But not the users.

They said something about how real money wont get you any advantage over the other guy.

Except that if you can buy something with in game currency that gives you an advantage...

That's fine on its own. It's fair and square.

But you can use REAL money to buy something that SPEEDS UP the gain of the in game currency? Oh yeah. That's BUYING AN ADVANTAGE. Directly I might add.

The bike analogy makes perfect sense. But remember you're racing to get there and the government says that you can't use real money to train on a trackmill or buy better shoes. However you can buy a bike which the other guy can't afford.
