I finally decided to register and delurk...Hi there!  I'm a relative newcomer to DF but I'm enjoying it immensely.

Anyway, there is only one thing that really bugs me about DF, and it's a bit of a nitpick.  Frequently because of my fat fingered ways I get accidental key repeats, as in, I hit '+' a single time and move down two elements in whatever menu I am in.  I know I can increase the key repeat delay to make this less frequent, but then the repeat rate is too slow for my taste.

The typical solution to this that eg. Windows itself uses is to have two delays: The first for how long it takes for key repeat to start, and the second for the time between repeats once it's started.  So I could set it to eg. 500ms to begin repeating and 100ms once it's started.
