Plants in underground biomes
« on: March 24, 2009, 01:48:44 am »

If a plant's biome is subterranean, i.e. a chasm or cave pool/river, is it even possible for them to grow naturally?

I mean, I suppose in muddy areas around the cave pool/river they could pop up, but what about other subterranean biomes? There's not usually soil down there...

I was thinking about it because a couple plants I found in mods were set to grow in chasms.

Forget down stairs, make an up stair
And then what?  Mine the sky? . . .  Actually, that'd be awesome.

I think that if you uncover an underground river then plants will start growing on any underground muddy tile...

I shall be eternally happy. I shall be able to construct elf hunting giant mecha. Which can pour magma.
Urist has been forced to use a friend as fertilizer lately.
