Just generated a small world. My copy of 40d9 has a few of the primitive civs enabled from the mod, and I've also upped the power of megabeasties. So I generated a new world.

Well, I opened up the world_sites_and_pops.txt and I found this. Of civilised creatures, there are:
57 humans
23 dwarves
5 goblins (assimilated into the dwarf civ)
675 elves!!!! :O

I was wondering why the current age was The Age of the Elf.

elves always eat their kills i believe. even if said kills are 20 times bigger than them.

In 32, the demon Usmza LiedParched the Skull of Ashes was shot and killed by the elf Mina Tiredroars in The Virtuous Forest.

Also, the goblin Snodub Monstervisions the Malign Conqueror who killed the last Bronze Colossus, Amtazcam TempestPrinces the Savage of Sabres, has seventy kills. The pitiful Colossus only had five.
