Alignment tokens
« on: February 13, 2008, 02:01:00 pm »

replace [GOOD], [EVIL], [BENIGN] and [SAVAGE] with generic ALIGNMENT tokens.

ALIGNMENT tokens would be described in a manner roughly as follows:

code:

[ALIGNMENT:EVIL]
 [OPPOSES:GOOD]
[UNDEAD] add other modifiers such as giant and dire animals here
[PERSONALITY:SYMPATHY:-20] relative personality modifier of dwellers
 [PERSONALITY:COOPERATION:-20]
 [PERSONALITY:ALTRUISM:-20]
 [PERSONALITY:TRUST:-10]
 [SPHERE:THRALLDOM]
[SPHERE:BLIGHT] spheres commonly associated with the concept

Then you could have USE_ALIGNED_WOOD instead of USE_GOOD_WOOD, USE_EVIL_WOOD, etc.

Ooh, I'm thinking of Ocean alignment creating mer-creatures and mer-dwarves the way Evil creates Undead. Or Fire alignment creating... well, you know.

This is a fox skull helmet. All craftsdwarfship is of the highest quality. It menaces with spikes of fox bone and is encircled with bands of fox leather. This item is haunted by the ghost of Alfador Angrorung the fox.

This would really go good with philosophy...

[ALIGNMENT:EPICUREAN]
 [OPPOSES:STOICISM]
 [PERSONALITY:MODERATION:+10]
 [SPHERE:FREEDOM]

Or something like that anyways...
This thread would be good with that philosophers one...
