[40d] Siege Tag Doesn't Leave

Hey, so my fort recently came under a rather underwhelming siege (less squads than the previous siege and no weaponmasters!?), and after easily crushing the invasion the siege tag did not leave the screen.  I know this is a previously reported problem, but I would like some help in finding a solution for my game and figured this fit in the bug forum better than anyplace else.

I determined that the unending siege is likely caused by a "flying" goblin that was in the act of being flung through the air when I saved my game.  He's still sitting there with the light blue background in his square, but can't be seen as alive on the unit list or even selected.  Heck, I can even build on top of him.  Is there any solution that will fix my game?  Will it end after some period of time?  I'm willing to use dwarf companion; in fact I've been trying to, with little success.  Any help would be appreciated.  I can upload the save if anyone is willing to take a whack at it.

No, there are no living goblins on the unit list and I sincerely doubt there are any ambush groups roaming around either.

Ok, I managed to end the siege myself.  I searched out the floating goblin by looking through all the goblin wrestlers in dwarf companion.  Then I messed with his stats until I found the one that made him be in mid-flight, edited that and a couple more, and let a nearby woodcutter chop the poor thing to pieces.  The siege immediately ended.  Took about 20 or 30 minutes total.

Do you remember the specific stats you changed that fixed this?  Or is it not that simple?  I've never used Dwarf Companion, although I'm getting it now...

In the "creature details" box for a creature there are a multitude of boxes that can be checked.  "0x1.4" is the box that when checked puts the creature in "being launched and currently in midair."  Unchecking it on the goblin in question and messing with some other boxes to make sure he was alive worked for me.

Do you have the same bug that I did?

Yeah, other people including me have had this problem -- good work discovering the DC fix on your own.  There doesn't seem to be a dev_bugs entry for this yet.  Supposedly it happens when you save the game while creatures are in midair, but that could use some confirmation.
