Do Goblins Still Trade?

I remember a while back people were talking about Goblins showing up with caravans full of (no doubt EEEvil) goods. But I've generated several worlds with and built a few forts since then but have never seen Goblin traders.
Has this been removed as a possibility? Or am I just unlucky?
For some weird reason I like the idea of trading with goblins. What would they sell? Blood stained clothes? Bone crafts?

The only thing i can say is that they don't trade in the current version.

They do, if either the goblins aren't BABYSNATCHER, or you are BABYSNATCHER.

Somehow, occasionally, a goblin civilization will apparently trade regardless.  I have no idea how this happens.

Perhaps during world gen something brought your civ and theirs together, not sure if alliances and such are in yet though as I'm yet to explore legends mode in any detail.

I thought this was a short term bug on the *.39 version set that was patched a few days after it was discovered.

Curious enough, i JUST had a goblin trader!
It was one lone goblin who wondered into my Fortress, He had mostly cave silk, meats and leather from unsavorily creatures, but he seemed friendly enough.

AFAICT, it depends of your civ's war status with the gobbo civ. I belive one of you having the [Babysnatcher] tag while the other doesn't just makes it extreamly hard to end worldgen with the two at peace.
