I kid of course. I can't imagine a more perfect operating system.

Ustxu Iceraped the Frigid Crystal of Slaughter was a glacier titan. It was the only one of its kind. A gigantic feathered carp composed of crystal glass. It has five mouths full of treacherous teeth, enormous clear wings, and ferocious blue eyes. Beware its icy breath! Ustxu was associated with oceans, glaciers, boats, and murder.

windows xp can be re-installed without reformatting everything.

it will probably wipe any defaults that isn't directly inside a program though,

(registry, desktop view, network password cache, ect)

it's bullshit how easy programs can install to the registry,
though i don't think it's the problem you have, you might want to download tea timer

*ehem*

Windows 7 RC

Also: Just install 7-zip.

It will re-shuffle the file association, I think.

Actually, AFAIH, windows 7 runs on vista's kernel, making it little more than an improved interface.

Also, winRAR is fine, at least on XP, as long as you are careful to only select certain file types during installation, since windows opens zip filles better for viewing and you can still use winRAR on them from the right-click menu...
