worldgen ending year
« on: March 22, 2009, 06:56:09 am »

Ever since the 40d version, my worldgen ALWAYS stops at the year 200 (I think when the game starts checking for megabeasts)

I've genned about 10 worlds in 40d, always they end in 200

is that normal?

Yes, i think that's the time when the game checks for alive megabeasts.

The year it starts checking megabeasts usually varies with the size of the world (pocket worlds start at 50 for example) and most megabeasts die way before that.

Sadly, very normal unless you buff up megabeasts, by alot.

Well, unless you don't care about megabeasts, you could change the minimum year to whatever you desire.

Yep, correct. Just buff up the megas for worldgen [like SIZE: 600 for example], and change their stats after worldgen again. It's an easy method to fix to "megabeast problem".
