Modding questions, World Reload / Farm modding

Lo all,

I'm getting my toes wet in DF modding, trying to find out where the data for plant growth speed etc is stored. Is there a Matgloss somewhere? Ive modded many games before, and made a few of my own, im just trying to save some work time by asking you all.

Also, does editing those files require a world reload? I read the sticky, so if the plants or farming data is in an entity file i have to rebuild my world i think?

The plants are in matgloss_plant.txt. The wiki has a list of plant tokens here, and editing existing plants does not require a regen.

I think it's a vastly amusing thought that elephants are so afraid of heights that when Dwarves invented the Z-axis, they couldn't bear to face dwarves in combat anymore.
