[39f] Floating downward slopes made of air.
« on: August 14, 2008, 09:05:39 pm »

So I was doing some pretty large controlled collapsing, and after the collapse I got three z-levels of this:

There is nothing below these slopes, and they aren't made of any material. There isn't even an upward slope below them. I've already re-loaded it. Only thing out of the ordinary I've done is Reclaim the site.

I too have seen floating slopes [39e]. Unfortunately I don't have a save or pics - but I collapsed a hill in front of my fort by digging through its ground level, leaving a support, then pulling the support with a lever. The hill had a small 'peak' on it (z+2). The slopes of this peak remained in midair on z+1/z+2, though their color was that of grassy slopes.

It doesn't affect game play whatsoever, it's just strange. Gotta remember to remove the slopes before I collapse the other side though.

Just FYI, I'm going to release a new version of my For Each Tile Tweak module tomorrow, and I'll be sure to add the means to eliminate such phantom ramps.

This is still an issue in 40d9.  Same as before, just seems like a cosmetic issue.
