I feel so dirty.

I've now modded out Alunite, Microcline, and all Igneus Extrusive layers than Obsidian. Gen's the most awesome worlds now.

Entire mountains sculpted out of Obsidian.

I might consider this cheating, but since I get really OCD over the random splotches of different color, I don't fret over my other pet peeve of cheating.

As for Realgar and other such rocks that randomly show up, I left those in for the sake of kindness. I'll just tweak em out.



Any others like me out there?

I modded gold to appear in every layer, soil and anything resembling a rock. And in HUEG CLUSTERS, too.

I've once modded adamantine to be the only rock.

Needless to say, my fort didn't last long.

Yes, but then EVERYONE has adamantine, while you have to mine it and smith it, etc. The first goblin siege obliterates you.

You could also make it so that all stone is the same color.

Ok, I mind more than just the color, when I make my obsidian fortresses, I like the entire thing to be obsidian. It takes a lot of my forts time to haul all the excess alunite away, so now I wonder how I'm going to manage all those peasents and keep them busy...

(I'll probably get my 2nd wave of migrants and just have the peasents start smoothing/engraving)

If the only stone is adamantine, but all the metals are kept in and ady is still [DEEP], shouldn't that not get you slaughtered by goblins?

If you feel so dirty why don't you mod all the stone to be ice. With warm whether you won't feel dirty anymore ^_^

QFT! That sounds hilarious! In fact, how do you mod the game to do this? And what qualifies as stone? Even soil?
