Tthe SLA never stirred up a mob or started a riot but the SLA didn't get very far in LCS game terms.  But the "new left" members of the SLA would have been inclined towards mass demonstration had that been possible.  The new left culture they came from was born from protest and their ideology was pseudo maoist, which calls for mass movements.

I don't really see why it's impossible to go speak on a bench somewhere without comprimising the LCS's secrecy.  Addressing the masses is supposed to let anyone who wants to hear the message hear it, yes.  But the LCS is discerning about who it actually gives a calling card to.  I'm not suggesting organizing an army (although that would be awesome), just lumping all the one on one pitches into one broad pitch.
