I haven't slept in over 24 hours, so this might be a little roof around the edgies.

The train part was portion. Almost nothing went wrong of any lasting significance. Except I fell into a toilet when the train hit a bump but we can move past that.

Too tired to do anything complicated, I mostly played R-Type III and Unreal World on the trip.

I actually missed or didn't find the last leg of my journey, a bus. I had to call a cab and spend nearly $100 on what should have been a $1.25 trip. URRGH.

But more disturbing was the bus stop. One person screaming at another for supposedly being a pedophile, then the so-called pedophile giving me pamphlets full of train information but being kind of creepy, etc. Harrisburg is a downright disturbing city.

EDIT: Okay, nothing in this post made any sense. To make up for it, pictures! Though I accidentally uploaded a picture of a house fan. http://img11.imageshack.us/gal.php?g=071509152800.jpg

Shippensburg Pennsylvania, a rather small town with a huge ass honkin' university stuck to the side of it. I'm looking for an apartment (and leaving in an hour to go look at one). It's fun times!

That fan isn't a fan. It's also a dog. Which is to say there's a dog in the photo, but like a grue, you cannot see him.

The fan blocks your vision. You are likely eaten by a dachshund.

Hahahah. It's possible, it's a black labrador at like 150 pounds, and not actually very fat.

What does The Bay 12 think of this apartment I looked at? The images are backwards; look from the bottom to get an idea of the progression.

It's a little run down, but the price is amazing; $500 / month if I recall, all utilities paid by owner instead of tenant.

Right. So when someone asks you if you want to hear something disturbing, you say NO!

Remember kids, just say no!

24 hours to travel 320 miles?

this is why you need a car.

You're entirely right. My father has a car, but it's totally unreliable. It's nice, but has a habit of falling apart at the seams.

Oh, I have found four good apartments so far, and about four more possibilities. I'm leaving in about 12 hours, at 3/4 AM. It looks like I have to walk a few miles to where the bus (should) arrive to take me to the train station. Here's hoping.

An immensely long walk in the very early morning hoping to catch a bus that was a no-show last time... it's fun times. I should just be a real dorf and walk 320 miles home.

... Then pick up a sock and come back.
