A military mother knocked unconscious was rescued, but the baby was left on the ground (it appears to be crawling away right now).
Then, suddenly, it disappeared. It didn't show up on the job list or unit list, but it counted towards population.
I went to the mother's profile and zoomed to the location of the baby, which appeared to be an unoccupied square.
I did this over a course of time, and it appears as though the baby is moving.

Nevermind, it got off screen and I was told that a kidnapper made off with the baby.
It was probably an invisible goblin snatcher that stole the baby.
