Then what keeps magma men and fire men from frying? Unlike their diminutive bastard cousin, the Fire Imp, they have no other temperature-related tags.

I think that the reason the fire/magma men do not die of heat is because they have no homeotherm tag, and therefore don't need to live in a certain temperature.

Saltwater crocodiles (and other cold-blooded creatures) don't have homeotherm either, only STANDARD_FLESH, and I'm fairly certain crocs won't survive in colder areas. Also, the latest dev log seems to imply that fixed temperatures make creatures immune to external heat sources (in the current version).

Hey, that gave me an idea. Sareth, try taking STANDARD_FLESH (as well as homeotherm and layering) out of your cats and see what happens.

Well, according to the thermonuclear catsplosion, you make temperature 40000 and add sever on break.

Im also temporarily fireproofing dwarves so that I can watch the destruction.
Will their clothes still catch fire?

Okay, I removed all that, now they catch fire to everything around them but don't die themselves, which I really want.

Edit, Just realized that [CAT_MOUTH] isn't a vanilla body part so I removed it. However if you are using mayday's pack then you may want to add it back on.

mabye you also want to make them with [FAT:100] or something so that it creates a giant fat fire as well? i'm not entirely sure that will work, though.
