PROGRESS_TRIGGER tags
« on: January 15, 2009, 02:32:10 am »

Does anybody know the precise meaning of the different values for PROGRESS_TRIGGER_POPULATION, PROGRESS_TRIGGER_PRODUCTION, and PROGRESS_TRIGGER_TRADE?

For example, PROGRESS_TRIGGER_POPULATION has a value of 0-5, according to the wiki.  If I set it to 2, what pop will my fort have to reach before that entity shows up?

I have a question related to these tags, and I didn't find it in that topic, so I'll ask it here.

To get sieged by whatever, do ALL of the tags need to be met, or just ONE of the tags used by that civ?

regardless, the slime shooter will be completed, come hell or high water, which are both entirely plausible setbacks at this point.

I would believe just one, since a couple entities only have one progress_trigger at all.

Yeah, just one needs to be satisfied.

It would be brutally difficult and probably won't work. In other words, it's absolutely dwarven!

i2amroy and aqizzar are correct, it's just one.

At some point I need to find a good way to figure out what the production trigger is. I suspect that it's monitored by the broker (bookkeeper -> hoardmaster), but that might be based on exported wealth. Time to make a non-trading test fort!
