It seems like Urist is a very uncommon real surname, a variation on Jurist.

If you want to learn "Dwarvish", you need look no further than your raw files. In it, you have language_DWARF.txt and others.

The text file may not display the special characters like á or ô properly. This may cause trouble with translating, since ôm and om are two different things.
ômurist = Crushdagger, omurist=Clutterdagger

Urist though isn't all that common (I think it shows up more then most names because it is unisex... but there are others) it just is noticed most often.

All dwarven names are unisex.

I always thought Dumed was the dwarfiest name, although they spelled it wrong.
