Ranged weapon fire rates?
« on: January 10, 2009, 01:54:04 pm »

I really doubt it's possible, but can ranged weapons have their rate of fire changed? I really doubt it is, but I supposed it wouldn't hurt to ask.

In case it can't I would like to ask another question, does fire rate depend on the skill used? Meaning bow weapons fire fast and crossbow weapons fire slowly.

This cannot yet be adjusted (sigh...), and bows and crossbows are currently equal in speed.

That is to say, everything is very fast.

Oh, I actually had no idea they were the same speed. As crossbows always seemed much slower than bows an adventure mode at least. I guess that means I better make those rifles damned expensive to make!

What's so funny? Crossbows being ready in seconds?

Твоя подпись.
And weapons speed is totally skill and mainly agility-dependent.

Oh, now I see how it can translate. Heh. Either where I got it from was slightly wrong or the language has changed a bit since the 20s. Stupid me I guess. :P

Thanks for answering about weapon speed then, that was very helpful.

Can't you slow them down by making the weapon hea'y enough to encumber?
