Anyone know of a game that plays like Harvest Moon for PC?  Apparently there was one released in 1997, but I can't find a legitimate seller for it.

Funny timing, the other day I pondered wether I should ask the abundant wisdom of this subforum for farming style games or not.

As for you, sadly, I can only think of all the harvest moon versions you can easily run emulated, such as the SNES or the PS1 version. Should be a matter of 15 minute google-fu to pull it off.

There is this one flash game, I think it's called "3rd world farmer", but it's too easy, too simple and too short.

I would murder a thousand one-legged orphan children HOPIN' AND BELIEVIN' FOR A BETTER TOMORROW to play a Harvest Moon game native to the PC. It's such an odd genre to describe to a person - farming simulator come RPG come dating game - but goddamn if I haven't lost more hours on Harvest Moon than any other game.

Personally I hate everything JRPG about harvest moon. I was just taking care of my fields most of the time 

You call them kobolds, I call them "automated irrigation system"  I'd love some nice gardening games. I'm a freak, I guess.
