40d display problem

when i use alt-tab to swich from df 40d in full screen and then back the screen looks like it is zoomed in. i think that it is a problem with my system but i cant seem to fix the problem. any help would be apreciated.

I've encountered similar problems in the past, but in my experience, it can usually be easily fixed by windowing the screen (I think it's the F4 key), then switching back to fullscreen.
