oo... The next one actually looks edible, and possibly even tasty.

Vinegar Salad
Serves 4
You will need:

    * 3 oranges
    * 30ml vinegar

Instructions:

   1. pre-heat the oven to 200 C
   2. barbeque the oranges
   3. fry the vinegar until browned
   4. bake for 20 minutes and serve hot

Yum.

All these steps are possible, and the end result might not taste bad, but again serving 4 with 3 tangy bbq oranges. Those are small servings.

I must be doing something wrong, I keep getting more edible things...

Kidney Beans Salsa
Serves 4
You will need:

    * 5 sausages
    * 70g kidney beans

Instructions:

   1. pre-heat the oven to 200 C
   2. put the sausages in the saucepan
   3. sauté the kidney beans
   4. bake for 30 minutes and serve hot

Yum.

Not only is that possible, but it is edible and sounds quite good. Though realistically you would need more than 70g of beans, and would probably add some rice as well.

"Yeah. My plan was to drop some kittens into the siege, and have my dwarves freefall into battle, landing on top of the kittens. The plan was kinda dumb though because the kittens were standing on grates, and the goblins killed them with arrows just as I was releasing the freefalling dwarves. So the dwarves weren't able to land on kittens and just fell and died."

On a related note:

The CHEF programming language:
http://www.dangermouse.net/esoteric/chef.html

All functional programs are recipes.
Ex:

Code: [Select]
Hello World Souffle.

This recipe prints the immortal words "Hello world!", in a basically brute force way. It also makes a lot of food for one person.

Ingredients.
72 g haricot beans
101 eggs
108 g lard
111 cups oil
32 zucchinis
119 ml water
114 g red salmon
100 g dijon mustard
33 potatoes

Method.
Put potatoes into the mixing bowl. Put dijon mustard into the mixing bowl. Put lard into the mixing bowl. Put red salmon into the mixing bowl. Put oil into the mixing bowl. Put water into the mixing bowl. Put zucchinis into the mixing bowl. Put oil into the mixing bowl. Put lard into the mixing bowl. Put lard into the mixing bowl. Put eggs into the mixing bowl. Put haricot beans into the mixing bowl. Liquefy contents of the mixing bowl. Pour contents of the mixing bowl into the baking dish.

Serves 1.

All I can say is that's one hell of a mixing bowl, to say nothing of the baking dish or oven.
