I am completely new to the game, and use a mac. I've been able to navigate through a great deal of the interface, but I am very confused about the help screen. This might not be a bug, and if that is the case, I'm sorry for posting this here, but I am unable to navigate through the help screen, or any other set of links that I've found (except the ones on the start up page). As a noob, it's difficult to learn how to play the game without being able to use the help screen. Am I missing something? I'm sorry if I am.

You'll probably have to change your keybindings.  The + and - keys are mapped differently on macs so in the esc menu choose key bindings and change the + and - keys to ones of your preference.  You might have to change the * and / keys as well.
