Computer "controlled" new outposts.
« on: January 02, 2008, 12:13:00 am »

I was thinking about the computers forts and how they where all unorganized(at least from the flat version i haven't been able to get to far in this version in adv mode)and thought maybe it would be possible to get it to work better, or at least more like a players fort.

I'm thinking of a sort of timetable for the computers digging, stockpile, bedroom ext ext now they wouldn't actually do the work it would calculate what dwarfs mining skills, picks, sleep time, eat time and just whatever else there is, then after a season or month whatever it would calculate it all and maybe toss in a goblin siege or a fish mauling a dwarf to death then would plop down the work.
it would have to calculate the food consumption and gathering too.

i know this isn't an ideal way to work it but i think it could be a start for this kind of thing.
