Player in a container?
« on: October 03, 2003, 08:11:00 am »

I was looking through the plan, and this idea jumped out.

Can the player be put into a container? After being swallowed whole by a big enough critter?

You mean, swallowed whole and then spit out into a container, or swallowed whole and then the swallower gets into a container?  Eating was going to be coded something like this.

Right now, containers can only handle items.  Ideally, I'd want to code creatures in containers at some point.  Vampires need coffins...

Let me try again... with less booze in my system.

Is it possible the player to get into a container (Stomach, magical prison, bag of holding?) by some process? (getting swallowed, zapped by spell, opening the bag and stepping into it)

Nothing is possible now, but I'd like to put some of that in sometime.  How can you have creepy parasites escape from within if you don't have living creatures in stomachs?  He he he....
