Nije dobra. (Am I saying that right?)
Almost. It should be "Nije dobro." (It's not good). What you wrote is "She's not good." Still, props for mad linguistical skills.

As for too many consonants in row, you should try reading Cvrchak (cricket), a classic of Croatian poetry. +5 cool points to anyone that pronounces the first line correctly:
I cvrchi, cvrchi cvrchak na chvoru crne smrche

Industry. <_<
Sodomy does not count as an industry.
Why not? >_>
We would have to overturn centuries of semantic tradition.  That's not a sacrifice I am willing to ask of the honest, hardworking american people who are, incidentally, the best people in the world.  Now give me a second to wrap myself in a flag.
MEKEKEKE I HAVE SABOTAGED YOUR FLAG
You fool. You should have waited until he was wrapped in it.

And there's no viable neutral party.

You should start one!

He probably would never win but it would be cool to try as a sociological experiment.  Presumably, there's an number of other small towns around with the same political problems.  You could start your third party and see if the mere presence of a reform party forces the other parties to adapt.  You can then observe the levels of political reform (judged by voter turn out and cross-religion civil service appointments) and economic growth.  Of course, it would take years of diligent effort.

You need some real policies though. The mere act of stating, "We hate the status quo" implies you got something better...and if you don't...well...erm...

There's always the fear that it's not the actual people that are corrupt, but it is the political insitutions that turns formerly idealized people into corrupt politicans. So a third political party may not really succed in changing.

The worst thing that could happen in a third party is if most of your voters belong to one 'group'...

The republicans belonged entirely to one 'group', abolitionists.  That single issue was enough to create a very powerful political party.  His third party could run on the issue of ending sectarian political appointment.  Make promises to appoint a number of both muslims and christians and you might get a few people casting protest votes who would have otherwise stayed home.  Maybe the wind will be loud enough that the main parties will emulate.
