Sorry if this has been covered, I was not able to find anything with a search.

I'm hoping to reduce the message spam regarding the engraving masterpieces being developed, and I found the 'o' -> 'x' standing orders screen.  Does that handle just cancellations?  Assuming it does, is there a way I can disable the masterpiece announcements?

Yeah, those only work for job cancellations. I don't think there's a way of turning off masterpiece announcements in the vanilla game.

Using third party utilities, people have turned on combat announcements, a la adventure mode, so maybe that's a possible route to look into. I've never used any of those, so I couldn't tell you how it's done.
